About Me

Missouri, United States
I consider myself the "black sheep" of the family. I moved away from home when I was 19 and a year ago I decided it was time I moved back home....so glad to be among family and friends. I grew up playing the piano but haven't played in years. I have always thought outside the box, wanting to move to Boquete Panama, I am a tea party participant. I am a reiki master and I have 2 good guard dogs....a dachshund and Jack Russell terrorist. I go to alternative news websites daily for news (don't trust MSM to tell the truth). Operation mockingbird is a CIA operation that began in the '40's to control the media both foreign and domestic. This is why I go to alternative news websites. For an excellent article to read on the subject I suggest http://www.prisonplanet.com/analysis_louise_01_03_03_mockingbird.html

It's the 'Oh, my God' Obusha holiday weekend really, really bad news dump: US considering attack on Pakistan 29 May 2010 The US military is reportedly weighing all possible options to attack Pakistan, in the event that it manages to link the country with a disastrous attack on the US soil... Military officials in the US have used the failed bomb attempt on New York's Times Square on May 1, to accuse Pakistan of harboring terrorists. The incident was also used to urge the Obama administration to review how it would respond to a successful attack on US soil. [The US strategy: Fund them while killing them. See: US Senate passes $349 million stimulus for Pakistan 29 May 2010. Does anyone else find this... *insane?*]
Stop the train I'm going insane

The Times Square false flag -- the gift that keeps on giving: Options studied for possible Pakistan strike 29 May 2010 The U.S. military is reviewing options for a unilateral strike in Pakistan in the event that a successful attack on American soil is traced to the country's tribal areas, according to senior military officials. Ties between the alleged Times Square bomber, Faisal Shahzad, and elements of the Pakistani Taliban have sharpened the Obama administration's need for retaliatory options, the officials said. They stressed that a U.S. reprisal would be contemplated only under extreme circumstances, such as a catastrophic attack that leaves President Obama convinced that the ongoing campaign of CIA drone strikes is insufficient. "Planning has been reinvigorated in the wake of Times Square," one of the officials said.
UN Official to Ask US to End CIA Drone Strikes 28 May 2010 A senior United Nations official is expected to call on the United States next week to stop Central Intelligence Agency drone strikes against people suspected of belonging to 'Al Qaeda,' complicating the Obama administration’s growing reliance on that tactic in Pakistan. Philip Alston, the United Nations special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, said Thursday that he would deliver a report on June 3 to the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva declaring that the "life and death power" of drones should be entrusted to regular armed forces, not intelligence agencies.
US military admits killing 23 Afghan civilians 29 May 2010 The US military has admitted killing 23 civilians and has reprimanded six operators of a pilot-less drone that attacked a convoy of civilians. An investigation found that warnings that the convoy was not an attacking force were ignored and that the ground-force commander was not sure who was in the vehicles. Women and children were among the dead.
US death toll in Afghanistan reaches 1000 as Americans weary of war 28 May 2010 The toll of American soldiers killed in Afghanistan reached 1,000 on Friday, a grim milestone that came as Americans back home prepared to commemorate their war dead. News that the body count had ticked into four figures came with the death in a roadside bombing of an American serviceman, yet to be named, who was the 32nd US soldier to die in the past month. He is the 430th to be killed in Afghanistan since President Obama took office in January 2009.
7 policemen killed in Afghanistan blast 30 May 2010 A bomb blast in northeastern Afghanistan has left at least seven policemen dead and two more injured, amid growing militancy in the country. The attack took place in the remote province of Badakhshan on Sunday. Local officials said the policemen were killed when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle. They said the bomb was set off by remote control.
LOLOL! NATO general in Afghanistan: Taliban train in Iran 30 May 2010 The commander of NATO and U.S. forces in Afghanistan said Sunday there is "clear evidence" that some Taliban fighters have trained in Iran. Gen. Stanley McChrystal told reporters in the Afghan capital that Iran — Afghanistan's western neighbor -- has generally assisted the Afghan government in fighting the insurgent group. "There is, however, clear evidence of Iranian activity -- in some cases providing weaponry and training to the Taliban -- that is inappropriate," he said. McChrystal said NATO forces are working to stop grow both the training and the weapons trafficking.
US to launch covert strikes on terror targets --White House gives green light to clandestine Special Forces missions across Middle East 26 May 2010 The US has authorised a sweeping expansion of covert military operations in the Middle East and Africa, aimed at destroying terrorist networks in the region, and preparing the ground ahead of any presidential decision to attack Iran. According yesterday's The New York Times, a directive, called the Joint Unconventional Warfare Task Force Execute Order, was signed on 30 September by General David Petraeus, head of Central Command and in charge of US military operations in the Middle East, Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa. Under its provisions, units of the Navy Seals, the Army's Delta Force and other Special Forces will be able to operate both in friendly countries, and in hostile countries with which the US is not technically at war.
Israel stations nuclear missile subs off Iran 30 May 2010 Three German-built Israeli submarines equipped with nuclear cruise missiles are to be deployed in the Gulf near the Iranian coastline. The first has been sent in response to Israeli fears that ballistic missiles developed by Iran, Syria and Hezbollah, a political and military organisation in Lebanon, could hit sites in Israel, including air bases and missile launchers. The submarines of Flotilla 7 -- Dolphin, Tekuma and Leviathan -- have visited the Gulf before. But the decision has now been taken to ensure a permanent presence of at least one of the vessels.
Israel Submarines Headed for Persian Gulf 30 May 2010 Israel has allegedly deployed a permanent submarine presence in the Persian Gulf to keep an eye on Iran, according to media reports published Sunday. The three German-built submarines are reportedly equipped with nuclear cruise missiles. Flotilla 7 is comprised of three submarines that have visited the region before -- the Dolphin, the Tekuma and the Leviathan. Each crew includes between 35 to 50 soldiers and is commanded by a colonel.
Israeli gunships head to sea to block flotilla 29 May 2010 Israeli gunships headed out to sea Friday to stop a flotilla of pro-Palestinian activists from reaching the Gaza Strip, the military said, setting the stage for what could become a dramatic showdown on the high seas. Israel's foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, said the country was prepared to stop the flotilla "at any cost." He called the aid mission a provocation and urged the international community to show understanding for the tough response.
Netanyahu to ask Obama to block measures over Israel's nuclear program 30 May 2010 Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will ask for clarifications about the U.S. position on the Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference when he meets with U.S. President Barack Obama at the White House on Tuesday. Review Conference participants decided that the nuclear reactors in Dimona and Sorek should be brought under the international inspection regime. A senior Israeli official said Netanyahu will ask Obama for American guarantees to block any practical measures, including an international conference on the matter. [Hopefully, Obama will hold his ground, but there's as much chance of that as a cat with a long tail in a room filled with rocking chairs. --LRP]
Canada to mount largest-ever security operation for G8/G20 summits By Paul Franklin 29 May 2010 Next month’s meeting of the G8 and G20 leaders in Ontario, Canada will see the largest and most expensive security operation in Canadian history. From Wednesday, June 23 to Sunday, June 27 presidents and prime ministers from the world’s largest economies will meet to discuss the ongoing crisis of global capitalism--first at the G8 summit in the resort community of Huntsville and then at the G20 in downtown Toronto... The leaders and their entourages--some over a thousand strong--will be protected by thousands of federal, provincial and metropolitan police, troops from the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), and a myriad of national security-intelligence agencies.
Congressmen Propose Pre-Paid Phone Registration to Prevent Terrorism 28 May 2010 Pre-paid phones have a lot of advantages... But they also have another benefit, anonymity, that can benefit criminals and terrorists. That's why two congressmen have proposed legislation that will require pre-paid phone users to register before purchase. [?!?] Senators Chuck Schumer of New York and John Cornyn of Texas announced their proposed legislation Wednesday, mostly in response to reports that the Times Square bomber used one to prepare and coordinate his attack.
Documents Show Early Worries About Safety of Rig 29 May 2010 Internal documents from BP show that there were serious problems and safety concerns with the Deepwater Horizon rig far earlier than those the company described to Congress last week. The problems involved the well casing and the blowout preventer, which are considered critical pieces in the chain of events that led to the disaster on the rig. The documents show that in March, after several weeks of problems on the rig, BP was struggling with a loss of "well control." And as far back as 11 months ago, it was concerned about the well casing and the blowout preventer.
BP 'can't guarantee success' in oil crisis 30 May 2010 Following 41 days of consecutive failure in stopping oil form gushing into the Gulf of Mexico, BP is not optimistic about the new method it intends to employ. BP announced on Sunday that its next plan to stem the oil flow, called "lower marine riser package" operation, involves robot submarines cutting the leaking pipe, placing a cap over it and then pumping the oil to the surface. However, the British company's Chief Operating Officer Doug Suttles said theoretically the method will work "but obviously we can't guarantee success."
Notice the tarballs at BP waited until *Saturday night* to announce this (highly predictable) nugget: BP's 'top kill' procedure fails to stop oil gusher 29 May 2010 BP has failed in its latest attempt to plug the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico with mud and cement, the company said Saturday. BP Chief Operating Officer Doug Suttles said the company determined the "top kill" method had failed after studying it for three days. The method involved pumping heavy drilling mud into a crippled well 5,000 feet underwater.
BP Buses In 400 Workers During Obama's Visit --Jefferson Parish Councilman Calls Company's Actions 'Shameful' 29 May 2010 Officials from Jefferson Parish claim BP bused 400 cleanup workers into Grand Isle on Friday in time for a visit from President Barack Obama. Jefferson Parish Councilman John Young said the workers were brought in to clean oil off Grand Isle's beaches. The extra workers were brought in for Friday only, at a rate of $12 an hour, officials told WDSU... "They must think we're all fools," he said. Roberts called BP's efforts "shameful."
BP and US Government 'Command Center' Guarded by Company From Afghan Embassy Hazing Scandal By Jeremy Scahill 28 May 2010 [Naomi Klein and her husband Avi Lewis] are traveling around the devastated US Gulf reporting on the horrific disaster caused by BP's massive oil spill. They described to me a run in that they just had with the private security company Wackenhut, which apparently has been hired to do the perimeter security for the "Deepwater Horizon Unified Command." The "Unified Command" is run jointly by BP and several US government agencies including the US Coast Guard, the Department of Defense, the Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security... Most recently, Wackenhut gained global infamy for the conduct of guards from its subsidiary Armor Group after it was revealed by whistleblowers that the company created a "Lord of the Flies environment" at the embassy...
Obama administration blocked efforts to stop BP oil drilling before explosion By Joe Kishore 10 May 2010 In 2009, the Obama administration intervened to support the reversal of a court order that would have halted offshore oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Obama’s Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, who has long had close ties to the industry, specifically cited BP’s Deepwater Horizon operation as one that should be allowed to go forward, according to a group involved in the court case. A Washington DC Appeals Court ruled in April 2009 that the Bush administration’s five-year plan for offshore oil and gas drilling (covering 2007 to 2012) was not based on a proper review of the environmental impact of the drilling. Only days before the ruling, the Obama administration had granted BP a "categorical exclusion," exempting it from an environmental impact study for the Deepwater Horizon project.
We Need a President Who Catnaps on a Cot 24/7 By J. Speer-Williams 30 May 2010 Mr. Obama, are you going to become a real leader, or continue to be a mere passive observer of the greatest man-made catastrophe in human history? You as our president should be operating 24/7 in a Louisiana command center, catching catnaps on a cot until our Gulf disaster and its attendant problems are solved. Enough with your bored detachment - we need real leadership right now.
New Radioactive Leak Found at Vt. Nuke Plant --Vt. Yankee official: Leak of radioactive water found, fixed, at nuke plant 30 May 2010 A new leak of radioactive material has been found and [allegedly] fixed at the troubled Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant, officials said Saturday. Vapor and water containing 13 different radioactive substances was found late Friday coming from a pipe in a hole workers dug to find the source of an earlier leak. "This was a new leak," Vermont Yankee spokesman Larry Smith said in an e-mail.
Children draped in English flags take part in fascist protest march through Newcastle 29 May 2010 Children were thrust into racial hostilities today as the English Defence League clashed with police and anti-fascist groups in Newcastle. Shops and pubs in the city closed as up to 3,000 EDL and Unite Against Fascism members took to the streets, chanting and waving banners.
The two camps came face-to-face near the city train station before their planned marches, with UAF protesters chanting 'Off our streets, Nazi scum' in response to the EDL's chorus of 'You're not English anymore'.

Fla. legislator backs Arizona-style immigration law 27 May 2010 Calls for an Arizona-style crackdown on illegal immigration are gaining ground in Florida... The state House's top legislator on criminal justice issues said he wants to see legislation to mirror Arizona's controversial illegal immigration law. It requires police to check the immigration status of people they stop if they reasonably suspect them to be in the state illegally. "I would absolutely, 100 percent, unequivocally support an Arizona law," said Rep. William Snyder, R-Stuart, a former police officer and chairman of the Criminal and Civil Justice Committee.
Thousands march in Phoenix to protest immigration law 29 May 2010 Hoping to turn their frustration and anger into action, tens of thousands of protesters against Arizona's new immigration law marched on the state Capitol Saturday and urged the nation's leaders to hear their pleas. "We must stand together for justice, opportunity and peace," said U.S. Rep. Ed Pastor, D-Ariz., at the midafternoon culmination of what was a peaceful demonstration on the Capitol grounds. "What we need in the United States is not scapegoating immigrants."
Police: Bathroom Peeper a Former FBI Agent 27 May 2010 (PA) A man arrested after he entered a girls' bathroom at Hershey Middle School during an evening concert is a former FBI (web) agent, according to court documents. Police said Ryan Seese, 36, was arrested for a similar incident inside a women's bathroom at the University of Arizona in 2007. According to court documents, Seese "was caught masturbating in a women's restroom." "Seese left the employ of the FBI and subsequently pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of public sexual indecency," police wrote.

Previous lead stories: "Hope-and-Change," A Hoax By Michael Rectenwald and Lori Price, www.legitgov.org 27 May 2010 In our encounters on various social networking sites and political blogs, we consistently encounter the faithful remnants of the "hope-and-change" believers. To combat the onslaught of evidence and opinion that leads one to the conclusion that Obama is a fraud at best and represents a hoax at worst, they point to lists of his accomplishments and the ways he has delivered on his campaign promises. Such lists, we believe, are generally misrepresentations and fail to rise to the level of credibility. They are misleading because they represent minor deeds that might very well have been accomplished otherwise... There are some notable changes, but are they commensurate with Obama’s euphuistic campaign rhetoric? We think not.
US Senate passes $349 million economic stimulus for Pakistan 29 May 2010 The US Senate has passed $349 million in economic and security aid for Pakistan, as part of a $60 billion war supplemental bill to fund Afghan operations and some other projects requested by the Obama administration. The summary of the measure, passed on Thursday, said that of the $349 million assistance for Pakistan, $259 million was for social and economic support programmes and activities, including $10 million for the Pakistan Civilian Assistance Programme [instead of funding such projects in the US]. The Obama administration had requested the money in economic, law enforcement, and military assistance for Pakistan. [See: The Obusha AfPak Money Pit By Lori Price.]
U.S. Senate Approves $60 Billion War-funding Bill --War Bill Approved as Afghan Conflict Tops Iraq in Cost, Troops 28 May 2010 The U.S. Senate approved a $60 billion war-funding bill last night as the conflict in Afghanistan has exceeded the Iraq war in annual cost and number of troops. Senators voted 67-28 for the measure, which goes to the House for consideration next month. Opposing the legislation were 26 Republicans and two Democrats. The vote came after lawmakers rejected a proposal to require President Barack Obama to submit a non-binding report outlining when he plans to end U.S. involvement in the almost nine-year-old Afghan conflict.
BP's Photo Blockade of the Gulf Oil Spill --Photographers say BP and government officials are preventing them from documenting the impact of the Deepwater Horizon disaster. 27 May 2010 News photographers are complaining that their efforts to document the slow-motion disaster in the Gulf of Mexico are being thwarted by local and federal officials--working with BP--who are blocking access to the sites where the effects of the spill are most visible. More than a month into the disaster, a host of anecdotal evidence is emerging from reporters, photographers, and TV crews in which BP and Coast Guard officials explicitly target members of the media, restricting and denying them access to oil-covered beaches, staging areas for clean-up efforts, and even flyovers. Last week, a CBS TV crew was threatened with arrest when attempting to film an oil-covered beach.
