    Thank you very much for this article about the Baking Soda-Maple Syrup Cancer Treatment.
    I tried making the Baking Soda-Maple Syrup mix for the first time last night. I did as mentioned in the below excerpt form this article: http://www.fourwinds10.com/siterun_data/health/holistic_alternative_medicine/news.php?q=1209404469
    My questions are:
    1. While heating and mixing should the mixture become like a white foam or froth?
    2. Should the mixture be taken orally while it's still hot or should it be allowed to cool first?
    3. Can the mixture be left standing overnight for use the next few days?
    4. If the answer to 3 is 'yes', should the mixture be reheated and stirred again or can it be taken as is?

    "This treatment is a combination of pure, 100% maple syrup and baking soda and was first reported on the Cancer Tutor site. When mixed and heated together, the maple syrup and baking soda bind together. The maple syrup targets cancer cells (which consume 15 times more glucose than normal cells) and the baking soda, which is dragged into the cancer cell by the maple syrup, being very alkaline forces a rapid shift in pH killing the cell. The actual formula is to mix one part baking soda with three parts (pure, 100%) maple syrup in a small saucepan. Stir briskly and heat the mixture for 5 minutes. Take 1 teaspoon daily, is what is suggested by Cancer Tutor but one could probably do this several times a day."

        Thank you for your letter and questions.  I apologize for the delay in my reply.  My wife, Anne, has been in and out of the hospital twice since her heart surgery on June 17, with edema and now shingles, which she contacted while in the hospital.  Finally, she is home and doing well.

    May I ask why you believe the BAKING SODA-MAPLE SYRUP CANCER TREATMENT is effective?  That is, why do you believe it is effective on cancers NOT in the digestive system?

    

    I have been studying and collecting cures for cancer since 1972, and I feel I have a pretty good idea which end is up in the field of cancer self-treatment.  As you will see if you download my cancer tome from http://tinyurl.com/38YearsOfCancerStudy, on p. 51 I say this:

Cancers outside of the digestive tract need the baking soda injected so that the baking soda is not neutralized by the digestive tract… this [baking soda and maple syrup] treatment is not in any way endorsed or supported by the Cancer Tutor website.              "Apparently, heating baking soda in maple syrup does NOT result in binding them together chemically as is claimed in online write-ups of Bicarbonate Maple Cancer Treatment.  The valuable part is the bicarbonate.  Forget the maple syrup."

    I certainly would love it if such a simple home remedy were effective for cancers outside the digestive system.  I have not done any double blind studies to prove or disprove the idea that this Bicarbonate Maple Cancer Treatment is effective on cancers outside the digestive system, but Dr. Simoncini who qualifies as an expert on the use of sodium bicarbonate against cancer does NOT administer sodium bicarbonate orally (and even then NOT with maple syrup or any sweet), but instead injects a 5% bicarbonate solution into the artery feeding the tumor.
    
    If you want to offer the world an inexpensive and highly effective cancer self-cure protocol, I would suggest that you steer people to Jim Humble and what he says about MMS1 and MMS2 in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPgRrlqsTII&feature=player_embedded.
